1. As per Sec. 8 of Cr. P.C., the State Government may by notification, declare that, as from such date as may be specified in the notification, any area in the State comprising a city or town whose population --- --- --- --- --- be a metropolitan area :

A Exceeds one billion

B Exceeds one million

C Exceeds ten million

D Exceeds five million
